How much does a CNA make starting off in Peoria, IL?

This Question From Nurse Midwife Pay | 2 Answers

I will be starting a CNA training program in a few weeks so that I may work as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and gain some clinical experience while I am going to school to obtain my BSN in Nursing to become a Registered Nurse/Midwife. Anyone familiar with the Peoria Area and what I would be looking at as far as an hourly wage? Also where should I look for employment once i’m done to get the best experience and pay? Home Health Services, Hospital, Nursing Home, etc???

CNA’s start at about $10. your best pay is Home Health but it has less benifits, hospitals have good benifits and low pay. if you need insurance I would go with the hospital.
